How the partnership splits the work

Two separate companies, deliberately different lanes — coordinated because the same person (Gregory Rivers) sits in the technology seat at both.

  • Card processing, settlement & monthly statements

  • Managed IT, helpdesk, patching, backup & monitoring
  • Cybersecurity (SentinelOne + Sophos), dark-web monitoring

One phone call, one bill, one technology partner.

Merchant services + technology, Atlanta-based

Norvet MSP and Trident Merchant Solutions both operate out of Atlanta. We serve merchants across the Atlanta metro — Clayton, DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, and Henry counties — plus field service statewide in Georgia and remote support across the Southeast. Veteran-owned, SDVOSB-certified, BBB A-rated.

Frequently asked

Is Norvet MSP the same company as Trident Merchant Solutions?

No — they are separate companies with a deliberate division of work. Trident Merchant Solutions handles payment processing (interchange, settlement, statements). Norvet MSP handles the technology around it: fiber internet, managed IT, cybersecurity, and POS hardware. Norvet's founder, Gregory Rivers, serves as Chief Information Officer of Trident Merchant Solutions in addition to running Norvet — which is how the two companies coordinate cleanly on shared merchants.

Do you process payments for Trident merchants?

No. Payment processing stays with Trident. Norvet is a parallel Kurv/EMS authorized agent (offices 7527/7528), which means for merchants who are not on Trident already, Norvet can quote payment processing through Kurv. For merchants who are on Trident: Norvet does the technology, Trident does the processing, one phone call covers both.

What POS systems do you sell?

Carbon Systems Iridium/Titanium/Onyx hardware lines configured for retail, restaurant, salon, and service-business workflows. We also support and integrate Tonic POS, MaxxPay, Clover, and SkyTab.

Are you in Atlanta?

Yes — Atlanta-based, serving merchants across the Atlanta metro (Clayton, DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry counties), with field-service capacity statewide in Georgia and a remote-support footprint across the Southeast. We are SDVOSB-certified (Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business) and BBB-accredited.

How do I switch from another merchant services provider?

Two paths. (1) If you want to stay with Trident for processing: contact Trident directly at tridentmerchantsolutions.com — Norvet handles the technology layer once you are onboarded. (2) If you want a Norvet-quoted alternative: we run a free rate comparison against your current statements using our Kurv/EMS sponsor banks (BMO Harris, Esquire, Merrick, Chesapeake) and tell you honestly whether we can beat your current rate. No card, no obligation.
